From Personally Yours
Members of all trade governing bodies recognised by within the number plate industry, established in 1988 we have nearly 20 years experience. Much of our custom comes by way of recommendation as many of our customers have become friends. See private car number plates information below. Easy - Fast - Safe - Secure......!
Personally Yours started selling car number plates in the late
eighties, during this period number plates have become
increasingly popular amongst the younger motorist, this may be
due to the more affordable release of the number plate prefix
range. The price of the cheaper plates start from only CHEAP (You can Make Your Own private number plate
here). All private plates purchased here are released on a V750 certificate which is valid for twelve months, the validity of the certificate can actually be extended for another twelve months by ourselves for a small administration fee, all we would need is a covering letter with the original certificate along with payment.
Of course you can transfer the car number plates straight onto your chosen vehicle, as long as you are in possession of the requisite documents of course. To transfer this type of number, all you need to do is post or take to you local motor tax office , your V750 certificate, your V5 logbook, a valid MoT certificate (if your vehicle requires one) and a copy of you road tax disc. They should transfer the private number to your vehicle over the counter for you. When choosing your destination car for your new number plate, you have to remember that an older car can not be made to look newer than it actually is. Example, car number plate Y1 NEW can not be transferred to a car originally registered as RBF 332X or even to a car originally registered as M332 RSH. Original car number plates can also be purchased from Personally yours, for more information please click here. Government V778 Retention Document Change of nominee details This is quite easy if the new nominee has contact with or is the grantee as it is the grantee that has to sign to authorise any change or extension on the certificate/registration number. If however the car registration number/certificate or the rights to the number plate are sold whilst on a certificate, the majority of the grantees on these certificates will be totally unknown to the new nominee’s, this is where it may be better to assign the registration to a vehicle as quickly as possible. The straight forward move would be to sign the certificate, then forward it to the Swansea with a cheque for the requisite amount (25 as of May 2005 for both change of nominee and extension all V778 and V750 certificates). Government V778 and V750 Certificates to Northern Ireland Vehicles Unfortunately this is not straight forward; it seems the government do not encourage English mainland number plates to be transferred to N.I. But as you may expect this can be quite easily done with the correct guidance. The car number plate registration number/certificate has to be transferred to a vehicle on the English mainland first; the cost of this is 80 as of May 2005. The initial transfer is quite straight forward if you have access to a vehicle registered on the mainland. Once the transfer has been accepted by the Local vehicle registration office the donor vehicle will then need to be inspected, once the inspection has been confirmed, the donor vehicle will be issued with a new number and all documentation including the recipient vehicles details forwarded to N.I in Colerain. They will then transfer the car number plate onto the Irish designated vehicle. |
