Miss Suzanne Perrott, a 21 year old maritime leisure management graduate from Shepperton in Middlesex, became Personalised Registrations’ two millionth customer when she purchased her number, SP55 SUZ last July. Suzanne is one of some 4,500 customers who have purchased 55 plate registrations in advance of the new numbers hitting the streets this September. At £499, her plate aptly reflects the way customers are using the current registration format to help personalise their vehicles and Suzanne’s will make its on the road debut next month attached to her brand new Daihatsu Terios. With advanced sales now totalling some £5 million, the 55 series has proved to be the’s most successful launch of current style registrations ever and are available from just £499 including VAT and £80 assignment fee. In the 15 years that the has been offering personalised number plates for sale, the scheme has attracted a growing customer base year on year and now enjoys annual sales in excess of £100 million, a five fold increase on the scheme’s first full year in 1990.
